Glenn A. Peterson
Glenn A Peterson, 65,of Moline died his home yesterday. Funeral servcies will be at 10 Monday morng in the Know-Larson Funeral home, Rock Island with the Rev. Kenneth D. Kuenning, pastor ofChurch of Peace officiatig. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates Cemetery, Moline. Frinds may cal at the funeral home adter noon Subday. Mr. Peterson was born Dec. 29, 1906 in Moline, a son of Phillip and May Wilder Peterson. He lived in the Moline and Rock Island area most of his life, with the exception of a few years he spent in Muscatine, Burlington, and Minnesota. He recoed his educatin in Moline public schools. He married Minnette H. Van Paul November 23, 1923. he later married Helen Kint, and later married Mary Ven Pelt Crowe March 23, 1950 in Muscatine. She died April 12, 1970. From 1954 to 1968 he was a maintenance supervisor at Eagle Signal, Davenport. He ws formerly employed at the Grain Processing Plant in Muscatine, the Ammunition Depot in Burlington, and J.I.Case in Rock Island. He was a memer of Loyal order of Moose in Moline. Surviving are five sons, Jerome A. of Dubuque, Robert E. of Hurst, Texas, Phillip E. of Andalusia, Larry M. of Coral Springs, Fla., and David G of Talmadge, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 4 brothers, Clarence of Bonner Springs, Kan., Lester, Raymond, and Lee; and 2 sisters, Mrs Jack Cargill of Milan, and Mrs. Leatha Kuhns. He was also preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.
