Meigs Kendall

Meigs KENDALL, only son of Augustus and Lucretia Kendall, lived on the home farm of his parents southwest of Reynolds. After their death he continued to make that his home. In 1914 he married Miss Winnefred Boyles at the the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Wheaton in Longmont, Colo. Augustus and Lucretia Kendall had taken Winnefred into their home at the age of fourteen and raised her with as much love and affection as if she were their own. After their marriage, Meigs and Winnefred returned to Illinois and to the farm in Hamlet where they lived all their lives.
